Do you ever feel like you need to do it all--take on every injustice, every task, and every perceived expectation?
I'm a healer at heart. God created me to want to heal the hurts in others and right the wrongs in the world. And the enemy knows that if he can keep me overwhelmed and discouraged then my work will be stunted and his chaos will continue.
Today let's choose to release the outcomes of life and circumstances into God's hands and embrace His love and only the tasks that we are assigned. We are part of the body of Christ--not the whole body. We are part of God's Kingdom agenda--not the only person doing the work.
Let's choose to have a mindset of serving in the now, in our area, in this time, with eyes fixed on Jesus instead of mind swirling with ALL that should/could be done.
Let's choose to say no to what isn't our tasks and choose time at HIS feet, in HIS word, and then putting our hand to our plow and not every person's plow.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God thank You for this day. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit which lives in us, guiding our minds daily when we seek.
Lord please help sensitize us to know what we are being called to and when we are to act in it. We know that this world is complex, broken, and hurting. Help us Lord to know which areas we are being called to serve in and which ways we are to stand against injustice, and when to embrace patient waiting on You to change the circumstances and hearts of those we interact with.
Holy Spirit, please grow our knowledge of Your holy word so that we can teach others through our words and actions. We want to shine Your light and love to help bring all those who seek into a deep, dynamic, loving salvation relationship with You.
We sing praises to Your name, now and forever, Amen.
