I find it interesting that the decisions and actions that are so good for me later are so hard to make and start in the beginning. Do you experience that too?
I'm not sure why my mind makes things feel so hard and overwhelming. I'm not sure why my mind creates excuses and imaginary outcomes that seem so daunting and horrible. But it does. It does every time I want to do something new, or start a new habit, or change a behavior pattern.
Thankfully the Lord empowers me by His word, His Spirit, and the amazing people, tools, books, and more that He keeps bringing into my life.
The Lord speaks into our hearts and our minds with a quiet, firm, and loving voice. His voice is not the one of fear, overwhelm, scarcity, chaos, frantic energy, berating, belittling, and so forth--all of that is the enemy that seeks to keep us from the path of blessings and to be a blessing.
Let's choose today to cultivate a mind that knows God's voice within. Learn His voice by reading His word, praising His name, and sitting in prayer for just a few minutes each day. And then walk by faith.
When you feel you have heard Him do not delay! Simply tell God you think you hear Him and you are stepping out in faith. He blesses a heart of bold faith (I'm not talking impetuous action).

Let's pray: Dear God Almighty, we humbly come to You with praise and thanksgiving.
We praise You Lord that You long to take us by the hand and lead us into blessings and being a blessing.
Lord please forgive us our sins, known and unknown, things done and not done. Please help us to cultivate faithfulness and a heart that hears Your voice.
Please Jesus be our Good Shepherd that leads us along the level path for Your glory. We thank You for loving us beyond measure and never leaving us nor forsaking us.
