How is your attitude and energy today toward yourself, God, and others?
I'll admit that I've been working through a lot of emotional struggles over the last few months. I'm not sorry for my journey--though I'm not at the point of the pop Christian song that proclaims--"I'm thankful for the scars." That's a spiritual maturity that either I refuse to embrace or I'm just not yet at.
It's interesting to me what triggers me and others into grumpiness, discouragement, pouting, pity, negativity, etc. However, we all experience the gamut of emotions and we all must choose what we will dwell on and stay stuck in.
I won't say it's easy to shift our energy and attitude--but I will say it's necessary if we are to grow, thrive, and bring forth an abundance of blessings from God and with God. Ephesians 3 CJB: 20 Now to Him who by His power working in us is able to do far beyond anything we can ask or imagine, 21 to Him be glory....
Let's choose to open ourselves up to His transforming power. Let's choose to journal out our thoughts, attitude, energy, etc. and reframe it and change it by speaking God's word over and into our minds, lives, and circumstances.
Psalm 73 CJB 21 When I had a sour attitude
and felt stung by pained emotions,
22 I was too stupid to understand;
I was like a brute beast with you.
23 Nevertheless, I am always with you;
you hold my right hand.
24 You will guide me with your advice;
and afterwards, you will receive me with honor.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, thank You for this day. Thank You for Your love even when we are surly, grumpy, discouraged, and blaming everything and everyone else for our life and circumstances.
Thank You Lord for picking us up out of the pit and setting us high above in a broad place when we submit to You and Your way. Please help us to humble ourselves and hear where we are out of alignment with You, Your word, will, and way.
Thank You Lord for forgiving us and empowering us. Please help us to see what we need to repent of, what we need to change, and what thoughts and actions are holding us back from all the blessings and impact that You want us to make for ourselves and for our legacy of blessings.
We praise You and worship You! We are awestruck by Your love and power. Please surround us with Your favor as a shield and rebuke the devourer away from our harvest of blessings.
We sing praises to Your name, now, and forever, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen!
