Do you ever get a funny feeling when talking to someone--a feeling like they aren't truthful or transparent or authentic with you?
God wants our spirit's sensitized to Him and to know the intentions of those we are talking with, working with, etc.
Discernment keeps us from choosing to align ourselves with selfish and ill intentioned people. Several times in the Bible people would choose to form a covenant/relationship with their enemies unwittingly.
God wants us to cultivate wisdom, discernment, a sound mind that ways carefully and is not impetuous (Isaiah 32:4 ) through His word and prayer with Him.
Let's choose to dig into the word and speak it over ourselves every day!
