How honest are you in your prayers?
I often don't want the consequences of my actions or inaction. As I prayed to God yesterday, I asked Him to relieve some of the long-term consequences of some of the choices that I have made over the years.
Humans are often not honest with themselves let alone honest with God. And yet God always knows the truth. And He wants us to come and pray with an honest open heart and mind.
Let's choose today to take responsibility over our actions--real responsibility, not victim mentality, not over-responsibility because someone else wants to blame us for their mindset issues, but real hard-looking responsibility at our mindsets, our choices, our actions, and lack of action.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we humbly come to the throne room of grace with awe, thanksgiving, and an open mind and heart to receive the truth.
Lord please help us to know what mindsets, past hurts, and emotional baggage is holding us back from seeing the truth and acting in accordance with Your word and way.
Please Jesus lead us to Your healing scripture that can mend our brokenness and replace years of stagnation with newness of life, love, forgiveness, and healing. We are so grateful Jesus that by Your stripes we are healed and by Your sacrifice we are allowed the Holy Spirit within us.
Holy Spirit please gently open our eyes to see the path we should walk and the actions we should take to alleviate some of the harsh consequences of our past decisions and inaction.
Thank You Lord for loving us with an everlasting love and desiring that we grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, financially, and relationally in this life. For we long to see Your goodness, mercy, and miracles in the land of living.
We know that You can order all things by Your power. Thank You Lord so much!
