Have you thought much about how you pray? What about how often you pray?
I don't ask to make you feel guilty or make you think there is a set time and number for prayers. What I know is that we often forget to pray protection prayers, healing past wounds prayers, wisdom to move through our day prayers.
What happens if we don't pray--then we are missing out on the power, guidance, and wisdom from our Lord.
And I want health, healing, protection, and wisdom for each and every one of us.
If you've been with me for a bit of time you know that I love to pray scripture. Praying scripture changes our hearts and minds. It helps us to know how to pray in accordance with God's will. And it brings the protection of God into our life and circumstances because it reminds us to pray for that.
My favorite prayer is the cultivated prayer I made from Psalm 91. Have you ever thought about making a prayer from one of the Psalms?
Let's choose today to dig into scripture and write out a prayer for ourselves to help imprint the word of God on our hearts and minds that need the healing power of God. Let's choose to keep seeking the Lord in all ways and circumstances so that we can reap the blessings of the Lord.
God's word says we have not because we ask not. And none of us want to lack because we forgot to ask.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty, we humbly come before You with thanks and praise.
We sing praises to Your name and thank You for such easy access to Your life giving word.
Lord we pray for forgiveness, healing, mercy, and protection. Please lead us to the scripture that we need for our wisdom and guidance today and every day.
We thank You Lord that You long to be in close relationship to us. We thank You that You long to give us the desires of our heart when we delight ourselves in You.
Holy Spirit please show us what we need to pray and what we need to do to bring lasting blessings and prosperity in every area of our lives.
Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen.
