What words are you feasting on lately?
I used to feast on complaining, fearful, snarky, cursing, jealousy, and worldly focused words. I typed them in Facebook posts, texts, said them out-loud and inside my mind. What do you think the outcome of that was?
When we feast on the world's words: vengeance, strife, jealousy, fear, gossip, snarkiness, sarcasm, gore, and more we magnetize more of it to us. We invite the enemy to plague our minds with more anxiety, worry, depressive thoughts, anger, resentment, bitterness, unworthiness and more.
Flipping the switch to God's words and breaking the ingrained habits of tearing life and others down isn't often quickly done. But, if I can, anyone can! Are you ready to place a sentry at your mouth? Are you ready to transform your words and thoughts to create an abundance of blessings? Are you ready to break the anger, yelling, and bitterness into prayer, praise, and joy?
Let's choose to read His word, write His word, speak His word out-loud, and put it on your scripture board to speak every day, 5 times a day! You are worthy of the blessed life! And God deserves our words and then thoughts coming into alignment with His truth and way.

Let's pray: Dear Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. We bow down and worship You now and forever!
Lord please forgive us our sins. Please help us to see and know the sin and brokenness we are speaking so that we can transform those words and thoughts into the words and thoughts that You want.
We will break the generational brokenness that we were exposed to, in Jesus name! Help us Jesus to break the chains that hold us back. Please show us where we are stuck in the past hurt that is breeding sin and brokenness in our lives.
Please help us, Jesus, to call on You when the adversary seeks to oppress our minds with our past sin--because You, our Savior, paid it all and deserve us to walk with our head held high in the freedom that Your sacrifice creates.
Please, Holy Spirit, lead us to the scripture we need to speak, believe, and be today and each day. Please imprint Your holy word upon our hearts and minds and vanquish the lies that plague us.
Thank You Lord Jesus that You are our Good Shepherd! Please help us walk behind You with our eyes fixed on You and the path that You are creating for us. We long to be in Your safety and alignment with Your will.
Thank You Lord for surrounding us with Your hedges of protection, favor, mercy, and love!
