Do you sometimes wonder where God is?
I used to wonder where and how God would show up in my life. I often would go days without thinking about God, I hardly ever read my Bible if at all, and then I would wonder why I didn't feel Him or see His hand at work.
What I have learned through daily reading of the Bible is that though His throne is in heaven, He is always present with me. The more I read, the more I see His hand and know His presence.
Though He is Holy and will judge the living and the dead according to His Holiness, He loves me more than I can imagine--to the point of sacrificing Himself to make me holy, worthy, beloved, forgiven, healing and free of my past shame.
Today let's remind ourselves that He is ever present, that we are free and forgiven, there is no more shame to remember. And let's spend a few more minutes getting to know Him through His word so that we can have God-blessed eyes to see His hand working around us, in us, and through us.

Let's pray: Dear God Almighty, we humbly come to the throne room of grace with praise and thanksgiving.
Lord we are in awe of Your love and mercy. We are in awe of Your sacrifice and forgiveness of our sins.
Please help us Lord this day to rebuke the lies of the enemy and walk in the truth that we are forgiven, our past remembered no more, and that You desire to bless us and lead us into a mature spiritual relationship with You.
Please Holy Spirit lead us to the scripture we need to renew a right mindset in us so that we can shine the light of Christ in such a way that others see and glorify Jesus.
We thank You Lord for wanting to do a mighty work in us and through us, please help us to submit to that transformation and change with stamina and joy in the Lord.
We sing praises to Your name, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen.
