How does our past impact our future?
How does our sin and those who sinned against us impact our decisions, choices, and future?
While I sometimes bristle at the hard truth of the Bible--the sins we hold onto make us easily lied to, abused more, and deceived.
The enemy knows that if we walk in our forgiveness throwing off the chains of the past we will be powerful, blessed, and create an amazing legacy for those we impact.
Let's stop being the victim and be the victor. Let's stop complaining and start speaking with bold courage against those who will deceive us, marginalize us, dismiss us, and keep reminding us of our past sin.
Jesus said it is finished, we are forgiven, we are given the Holy Spirit, we are given healing that we can tap into. We are loved, precious, worthy, wonderful, and powerful in Christ Jesus. Let's stop looking into the past and start speaking life over ourselves, our future, and our legacy.
Let's pray: Dear Lord Jesus thank You for this day. Thank You for Your love, salvation, healing, and power that lives within us.
Lord please help us to rebuke the whispers of the enemy about our past. Please help us to heal the hurts done to us and walk courageously in our forgiveness. Lord please make us bold and courageous to stand up for justice for ourselves and for all those around us spreading the goodness of forgiveness and freedom in You Lord Jesus.
We praise You and thank You for all the healing and transformation You are doing in us.
