I'm a perfect human--I'm forgetful, I tend toward dismay and defeat, pride, sin, selfishness the list could go on.
But, thank God we have His word to remind us to strive toward the high calling in Christ Jesus--to strive toward His holy attributes in all our behavior (1 Peter 1:15).
Today whatever you have forgotten or given up praying about, double down and pray that God would give You creative ideas and ways to pray so that what you are seeking would stay fresh on your mind (NO, we don't need amazing words to move the heart of God. But we perfect humans need fresh perspectives from different words to bring about a renewed hope.)
Today let's sing praises to His name for all the things He has done and is doing in your life and in others.
Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty, thank You for this day. This is a day that we can rejoice and sing praises to Your name.
This is a day we get to come into Your throne room and receive mercy, grace, and love--thank You Lord Jesus!
Lord please help us to pray in earnest today for the things we may have given up on. Help us please to remember to praise You daily and strive to transform our behavior day by day.
Please heal us Lord Jesus, please break the chains of sin and sadness that hold us back from the blessings in this life and the life to come.
We thank You Jesus for Your word, Your Spirit, and fresh perspectives. Amen
