Have you thought about the treasure that waits for you in heaven?
I admit that I don't think about it at all. As I read this passage I wondered what treasure it is. For me the shear fact that I can even go to heaven after all my past sins is enough.
But like any child of God He blesses those who seek after Him in this life and the life to come.
Treasure this fact in your hearts my friends that God brings blessings through the trials of this life as You lean into Him and learn more from Him.
And treasure the fact in your hearts today that the glory of being in heaven with Abba Father Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit will far out strip anything you endured in this life.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty, we are constantly in awe of Your love and mercy. We are so humbled and grateful Lord that You made a way for us to be in heaven and rejoice at the end of our lives.
Help us Jesus to take that knowledge and use it to empower us even more to serve You in this life.
Please help us to be Your hands and feet and to shine Your light in such a way that others see and glorify You.
Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen
