He causes us to stand!
Just love this verse today! As I read it--and sometimes Bible verses have so much packed into one sentence that I miss the multiple beautiful pearls to glean.
This verse talks about our uniqueness and God's amazing power to work with us uniquely to cause us to stand through our circumstances.
If you've seen my past live Bible studies, I believe very firmly that each of us are unique and we need to stop comparing our gifts, blessings, and lives to those we see around us or on social media.
Our inheritance is uniquely ours! (see verse Acts 20:32 and Ephesians 1:11) There is no lack in the Kingdom of God. Just because someone down the street has all the things you want doesn't mean that you lost out. God's gifts are perfectly made for you alone and no one else gets what is predestined for you WHEN you work with God to grow in spiritual maturity.
We can't expect blessings or to be lifted up by God when we aren't willing to submit ourselves for His transformation and change. BUT, the moment we extend our hand and ask God to lead us to the tools and scripture we need for transformation and change He causes us to stand and persevere by His power!
Don't delay your blessings or His ability to cause you to stand! Call out to Him! Dig into His word! Your blessings are waiting no matter the circumstances! Amen!
