Who do you love intensively and with great care?
I think sometimes I can get a bit of understanding of Abba Father's intense love for me through the lens of my intense love and care for my children. But, I imagine also that that love probably pales in comparison to God's intense love and care for each of us.
I awe in Christ's ability to hold Himself on the cross for each of our sins--known and unknown. To take on my sins and the sins of the world and bear that into an explosion of pain and washing away blows my mind.
Let's take a moment today to revel in God's love and care for each of us. His careful planning and sacrifice is beyond all measure and full understanding in our human minds. But we can allow that wonder and awe to spur us on to become all that God wants us to be.
Let's pray: Dear Lord Almighty, we humbly come before You with great praise and thanksgiving. Lord Jesus please wash our sins away--the ones we knowingly did and the ones we unknowingly did.
We praise You and are in deep awe of Your intense love and care for each of us.
Lord give us a glimpse in our spirit of Your love. Help us Holy Spirit to come into alignment with Your power and energy so that we can feel that love and revel in it.
Help us Holy Spirit to release our past hurts and broken mindsets so that we can walk in newness of life. Help us to strive day by day to transform our minds to be more Christlike and selfless.
We long for the blessings that come from following You fully and being in alignment with Your will and word. Please help us have an understanding of the changes we need to make day by day to walk into our unique blessings.
