God told Ezekiel to eat of His word and go speak the word to others/nation of Israel (Ezekiel 3:1). God used the words "son of man" or another translation "human being".
Ezekiel 3:1 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
3 He said to me, “Human being, eat what you see in front of you; eat this scroll. Then go and speak to the house of Isra’el.”
We know that God's word never returns void--it is living and active, it is healing, transforming, and the perspective shift we need to bring forth an abundance of blessings and growth.
I've seen in my life that the consistent eating and speaking of the word over myself has healed, changed, grown, and blessed my life in ways that I never could have imagined. Was it quick? No. Is it lasting? Yes. It is a blessing? Yes!!
We as Christians need to stop looking for an easy button, a fast pass, or lightening flash of change. Life is made up on the little mundane tasks that we do each day. It's made up of micro-choices that lead up to major choices that produce a harvest so large we don't have enough room to take it all in (Malachi 3:10 and Genesis 26:12).
Let's choose today to nourish our mind, body, and life with the word of God and the mundane tasks done well for a harvest of blessings a hundredfold next year.

Let's pray: Dear God Almighty, we humans are so amazed at Your love and deep, detailed, mindfulness of us.
Lord how can it be that You long to be in a relationship with us--but it is! It is the sweetest honey that heals and nourishes, forgives, and empowers.
Jesus we thank You for marking us as Holy unto The Lord, forgiven and free indeed to eat of the word of God and set ourselves free from sin, brokenness, and more--and then share that blessing to all those around us.
Holy Spirit help us to eat of The Word with vigor and a fierce thirst and hunger. Please help us to nourish our dry places and hurt spaces with God's healing word and power.
Please help us to use God's word to fuel our daily activities, our thoughts, our reactions, our relationships, and our blessings.
Thank You Lord that You know us, created us, called us, qualify us each day through Your word and will. We delight ourselves in You and Your word and give thanks to You always.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen!
