Listen to the word of the Lord, O sons of Israel,For the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land,Because there is no [a]faithfulness or [b]kindness Or knowledge of God in the land.2 There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing and adultery.They employ violence, so that bloodshed [c]follows bloodshed.
May we transform our behavior and attitudes such that we share the knowledge of God. May we stop using deception to get our way, or swearing to make a point, or murdering of someones reputation to gain what we want, or stealing other's peace because of our self focus or intent for revenge or for the mere fact that we are disappointed with our own lives....
