It's easy to put all our focus on one verse and miss the complexity, depth, and totality of God's words.
I love focusing on one verse but it is very key to know as much of the Bible as we can so that we can use that verse in a way that will help us create the abundant joyfilled life.
God many times promises to help us and to bless us. God says: My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. (John 15:7).
If we want something we first need to know the person or in this case our Abba God. We never run down the street and ask for health, wealth, etc from strangers. Then why should we treat our God any differently.
Let's choose today to get to know God and His word before asking for our needs to be met. He wants us to ask but He also says: seek first the Kingdom (Matthew 6:33).
Let's pray: Dear Abba Father, thank You for this precious day. This is the day that You have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Lord please create in us a desire to read your word, know your word, and seek you day by day.
Please imprint Your Holy word upon our hearts and minds so that we can have healthy thoughts, words, and actions.
We seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness and we thank You for adding all these things unto us.
