Joy, peace, love, light, gladness, protection, and forgiveness come to those who embrace Jesus and learn to hate what God hates and love what God loves.
I first heard the affirmation: I love what God loves and I hate what God hates, from Terri Savelle Foy. I started crafting my own proclamations from God's word when I started to learn about affirmations from my very first coach and then even more when I read Terri's book Pep Talk.
The power of learning what God loves and speaking it has forever transformed my broken mind, and depressed heart into one of joy, stamina, perseverance, self-control, self-discipline, love, light, and most of all forgiveness for myself and for others.
What does God hate? A pride-filled hard heart that cares nothing for others and for the very God who formed their soul.
What does God love? A humble heart that embraces love and forgiveness for themselves and all those around them.
Let's choose today to cast away the shame and condemnation of ourselves and others.
Let's choose today to treat ourselves and others with forgiveness, mercy, and love.
Let's choose to praise His name every single time we think of Him and hear the mention of our mighty, loving God.
Let's choose to speak life, light, and love--that is God's word over our circumstances, ourselves, and all those around us.
Let's choose to do that which God calls us to do no matter what our present feelings are--for no matter what others think or say YOU are an extremely important person to Him who died for Your salvation and for the plans He has for YOU!

Let's pray: Dear God Almighty, we humbly and with much rejoicing come boldly to the throne room of grace to sing praises to Your name for Your love and Your mercy.
Lord Jesus we can't fully fathom Your love for each of us. We can't fully fathom how You choose to see us as so precious, so important, and so beloved of all that You want for us.
Lord please forgive us our sins known and unknown, thoughts that derail our purpose, and times of stubborn pride and brokenness. Lord please help us to love what You love and hate what You hate.
Please lead us to the scripture that we need to speak, believe, and be for our healing and Your Kingdom agenda. We long Lord to do Your will and to receive the blessings, the light, the joy, and the love that comes from being in alignment with Your will and way.
Please protect us from the evil one and help us to discern the enemies lies. We know You are our Good Shepherd that leads, guides, and protects us. We praise You and ask that You would continue to give us wisdom where we lack it and self-control where we need it.
Thank You Lord Jesus for Your love and Your desire to hear us and to be with us each and every moment of the day.
Amen.
