Do you ever slip back into old habits?
It takes time, effort, focus, and intention to root out old habits, behaviors, and words that tear you down.
I know it can feel overwhelming and defeating to fall back into a way of thinking, speaking, or behaving that you thought you triumphed over.
But remember Proverbs 24:16 though the righteous person falls they will yet rise again.
Don't give up. Years of habit take months of new habit to pull out and transform into something positive.
Don't give up on speaking your affirmations. Years of thought habit takes many, many months of speaking life over your mind to make those life giving words the ones that flow through your mind and crowd out the old thoughts.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty, thank You for this day. This is a day that we get to rejoice in You, give thanks to You, and read Your Holy word which is life to our weary minds and souls.
Thank You Jesus for wanting us to be transformed and blessed through the power of Your word and Spirit.
Lord Jesus please lead us each day to read Your word, speak Your word, believe Your word, and become all that You call us to be.
Help us please to stay diligent and persevere when we slip and fall.
Please help us to learn how to be Your hands and feet to bless others, for we are blessed to be called Your sons and daughters.
