God wants us to use this time on this earth for cultivating faithfulness (Psalm 37:3) and love for one another through Christ.
We're not here to serve the fleshly desires of our mind--cultivating laziness, negativity, selfishness, ignorance to the plight of others. No, we are the light that shines counter to the world's ways.
We are the ones who stop the gossip train, who stand against racism, abortion, prostitution, degradation of people in every form.
We keep our eyes fixed on God's agenda, His word, His will, His way--knowing that this world is not our home.
Let's choose today to cultivate knowledge of His word and how to empower ourselves through the Holy Spirit to have courage to stand against the worldly ways with boldness and Christ-like love.

Let's pray: Dear Lord Jesus God Almighty, we humbly come before You with thanks and praise.
We thank You that this world is not our home--that You made a way for us to be forever in the Kingdom of God once our time of service here is done.
Lord please cultivate in us the courage to stand against the broken ways of this world and shine Your light in such a way that others will see and come into a greater salvation knowledge of You.
We thank You Lord Jesus for all that You are doing in our lives, through our lives, and for our lives.
Thank You Lord for always hearing our prayers, Amen.
