The world's way is like a powerful undertow pulling us under into depression and dysfunction.
I never knew how far into the undertow I was until one shame-filled, embarrassing moment that brought me to the beginning of my healing journey.
The world's ways are subtly imprinted on us like a flesh eating bacteria--it slowly eats away at our resolve, our blessings, our mindset, our relationships--especially with God. It feeds us brokenness, dysfunctional relationships, worry, complaining, complacency, overwhelm, unhealthy boundaries, laziness, and so on.
The world's way even feeds us dysfunctional Christian doctrine and beliefs that are not supported in the totality of God's word.
My friends we need to be so rooted in scripture that as the tide pulls and as the world tries to eat at us we stay unmoved and unconsumed by the enemy's agenda.
Let's choose today to grow our knowledge of scripture daily, to question everything, to analyze the words and thoughts that come into our minds and out of our mouths.
Let's choose to write out our thoughts and reframe them in the light of God's truth: We are forgiven. Our shame is no more. We are empowered. We are the light. We are strong. We are WORHTY of healthy boundaries, peace, love, mercy, and the blessings that God wants to give us.
Let's choose to cultivate great understanding, wisdom, discernment, healing, and guidance from God's word. God longs to make the women a mighty army for His Kingdom agenda (Psalm 68:11)!

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we are in awe of Your love. We thank You, Jesus, that we can come boldly to the throne room of grace and receive forgiveness, love, healing, and empowerment.
Lord please show us where the world's ways have started to take root and eat away at us. Please help us to see where we lack wisdom and how to start putting Your wisdom, word, and way into those broken and immature places.
We praise You Holy Spirit for leading us to the scripture that we need to read, learn, and grow into. We thank You Lord that Your word is healing, transforming, powerful, and protection against the dysfunction of the world.
Please Lord grant us revelation knowledge of Your scripture, will, and way. Please empower us to know how to apply it to our lives, to heal the hurts, and to change our perspective.
Thank You Lord that You are our Good Shepherd who leads us on our healing journey. Please protect us from the schemes of the enemy, the lies of the world, and the destructive forces that can stop our growth and blessings.
We long to cultivate our faith, love, mercy, self-control, self-discipline, and strength to do all that will bless us and future generations.
Please show us the tools, the thoughts, the habits, and the people we need to align with to bring forth a hundredfold harvest of blessings this season and every season to come.
We sing praises to Your name, now and forever, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Amen!
