I love this verse. The hard truth of it. It is difficult when times are tough to not want to look all around--trying to find answers from others or an exit strategy from the difficulties. Can I get an Amen?
I am first to admit that when times are tough I look for the easiest most expedient way out. My first thoughts are rarely to dive in and analyze the situation with prayer, meditation, and fasting. Fasting especially is HARD!! Ugh why would I want more hard in the midst of an already stressful and painful time! 😭🍽😳
BUT, why also would I want to prolong the painful times????
We prolong our difficult times by not digging in deep into the word with prayer and constant speaking out loud the word of God.
We prolong our trials when we don't dig in deep and analyze what actions God is calling us to take.
I use to dig into mindless TV and fiction books instead of transforming my mindset and changing my daily routine to the challenging one that produces the abundant joyful life. A routine that benefits soul, body, and mind will change our lives! 🏃♀️🖋🚴♀️🗣👣🌄
Today as we praise our Savior Jesus Christ for His love and forgiveness, let's ask for wisdom to find the tools we need to transform our lives into the abundant one. ❤👊
