How To Create Boundaries on Our Thoughts, Words, & Interactions: Devotional 1 Peter 3:10

We need healthy boundaries on our mouth and the people that create havoc in our lives and minds.

Sometimes we must run away from situations that will bring out the worst in us--the lies, the deception, the anger, the desire to sling words of hurt.

It's always okay to run away from an encounter that will only lead to sin and sadness.

It's always okay to run to Abba Father who always hears our prayers and pray for those that cause us to want to sin.

Let's start today to create healthy boundaries on our thoughts and words.

When your thoughts turn dark and vengeful run to Abba Father in prayer.

When your words start coming from a place of anger, resentment, self-serving, and hurtful, run to Abba Father and ask for forgiveness and a transformation of your thoughts and words.

When we intentionally seek to place boundaries on our thoughts, words, and interactions, the Lord will bless us who seek His way and His wisdom.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God, we thank You so much that we have an abundance of access to Your word which is life, blessings, truth, and wisdom.

We praise You Lord that Your eye is always on us and Your ear is always listening to us.

Thank You Jesus for turning us from sinful and broken to worthy, loved, forgiven, and free.

Lord Jesus help us to put the right boundaries on our thoughts, words, and deeds. Help us Jesus to run to You and away from sin.

Thank You Jesus for working on us day by day in every way.

We sing praises to Your name, Amen!

Try to live in peace even you must run after it to catch and hold it! 12 For the Lord is watching His children, listening to their prayers; but the Lord's face is hard against those who do evil.
