Who loves the ebb and flow of the ocean? hands 💁♀️🌊
This world is constantly pulling us in all different directions. The messages we receive are so confusing--one says hustle, the other says rest, the other tells us being a mess is okay, but then another tells us to be perfectly pulled together.
It can be exhausting to be bombarded by conflicting information--we start questioning our truth, our ability to know, and our ability to do--frozen by uncertainty and indecision on the best path forward.
An anchor keeps us from being pulled along the changing tide. That certain tie allows us to feel the power and strength of the immovable anchor.
We who are marked as Christ's own can know with certainty that we are saved and anchored forever with God. He gave us His holy word as rope to keep us from being washed around in a crazy tidal pool of the worldly mixed messages.
Let's choose today to take every message we are wondering about and hold it up to the truth of God. Let's choose to remind our weary mind that our Savior anchors us to God and allows us the ability to confidently come to the throne room of God, pouring our thoughts to Him and receiving His good counsel.
Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty, thank You for Your love and sacrifice. Thank You Jesus for being our Savior, our anchor to come into the throne room of Abba Father.
Lord please imprint Your Holy word upon our hearts and minds so that we are tied to the truth and not pulled into ways of thinking and behaving that tear us down.
Lord we give You all thanks and praise for what You are doing in our lives and how You are using our spiritual growth to bless all those around us.
We are in awe of Your Kingdom agenda and Your great love for each of us. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
