True transformation starts in the mind.
Do you ever struggle to stop doing something you know isn't healthy for you?
Have you ever asked God to show you where you are out of alignment with His will or where you are sinning against Him?
We often beg God for circumstances to change. We want to be happy, healthy, and wealthy. Yet, we often aren't taking any real action towards the prayers we pray.
Today let's ask God to show us where we are sinning and what action to take to change it.
Let's choose to speak the word of God into our minds so that our words change, and our lives change. Because God's words are:
7-8 God’s laws are perfect. They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light. 9 God’s laws are pure, eternal, just.[b] 10 They are more desirable than gold. They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb. 11 For they warn us away from harm and give success to those who obey them. Let's pray: Dear Lord Jesus thank You for this day. Thank You for Your forgiveness, mercy, and love like none other.
Lord please forgive us our sins, known and unknow, things done and left undone. Please lead us to know where we are out of Your will, way, and Kingdom principles so that we can understand what needs to change.
Please lead us to learn Your word day by day. Please imprint it upon our heart and mind so that it will transform our thoughts to be pleasing in Your sight. And so that it will transform our actions to be a beacon of light to bring others into a salvation relationship with You Lord Jesus.
We thank You Lord that You are always with us and always willing to talk with us. Please help us to hear Your voice, quickly obey Your word, and delight ourselves in You every day.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
