Are you worried about the future?
I spent decades of my life controlled by fear, worry, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, restlessness--all because I wanted total control over the outcomes of all things. I wanted to know exactly what would happen in every situation and place I went. I wanted to keep from experiencing pain, hurt, or any discomfort.
But truly there is no control in life. There is no way to craft every situation, experience, and interaction into the perfect one--into one where there is no pain, hurt, discomfort, etc.
I'm sitting in a hotel room writing this. Part of me wonders how I got here (yes by plane) but that I CHOSE to come here on a plane and experience this time is amazing--because in the past decades it would have been very hard to get me to do all that I am doing right now. I can't control how I am treated here. I can't control anything.
I can only do each thing with the intention to serve, support, absorb, learn, and experience.
If we rely on God to lead us and to craft the outcome of our circumstances then we will have joy, peace, patience, and goodness in our lives.
If we choose to lead our lives and our interactions with the intention to serve God's light and love to all those around us then we will simply walk through each thing without stress and strain.
God simply asks us to absorb His word and BE His word and let all the rest be in His hands.
Let's choose today to simply BE His word--love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, self-controlled and disciplined and THEN watch the goodness of the Lord flood into your life.

Let's pray: Dear Lord thank You for this day. Thank You for Your love and mercy.
Jesus we are in awe of you. We are humbled by Your love and mercy. Please help us to remember that this life is to bring You glory and to grow in knowledge of You.
Please lead us to the scripture that we can learn and speak to become all that You want for us each day.
We release trying to manipulate people and circumstances. We humble ourselves and come into alignment with Your Spirit, will, and way.
We know that You want all good things for us. We know that You want us to walk united in Your peace shining Your light to all those around us.
Please help us to continue to release fear and worry when it rises up. Help us to speak out against the lies of the enemy and continue to serve with an intention to be Your hands and feet.
We thank You Jesus for Your love and protection. Please surround us with favor, protection, and renewed energy to walk out our gifts and calling day by day.
We sing praises to Your name, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen.
