What does a holy, peace-filled life look like?
During this difficult season, I believe God is calling out to us to not just live but to live with intention to love like He loves, to live with thought to healing broken mindsets and actions.
God doesn't intend for His word to overwhelm us and discourage us from striving toward change, but to invigorate us into action. The enemy wants us to feel discouraged and as if we don't have the power to change ourselves, our lives, and our world.
But the word of God says we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We can call on God to help us to transform our words, our habits, our reactions, and actions so that lasting change flows like ripples in a pond out through the world.
We are in a season of choice--we can choose to dig into the word and share love and peace with all those around us. Or we can choose to remain stagnant like dead water.
Jesus is the living water that flows through us and from us.
How are you sharing that living water with yourself today and others?
Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty, thank You that You bring us through hard seasons so that we will grow and transform.
Lord please show us today how to drink in Your word and share it with others.
Please rebuke the enemy from discouraging us. Please cause our minds to understand that growth is a hard and beautiful good that brings forth an abundance of blessings.
We pray for an end to hate, prejudice, brokenness, racial injustice, and ignorant minds.
Lord Jesus help us to be Your light, sharing peace and love with all those around us.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen
