Tell me what you think wise living looks like in the comments.
God's word is wisdom and life (Proverbs 4:7 &John 6:63).
We've talked a lot about talk and the words we say to ourselves and others over the last few days.
Sometimes, I think when circumstances weight me down and I'm running under my own power, instead of tapping into God's energy, I forget to plan with wisdom from the Lord.
One of my affirmation/proclamations that I say often is: I wisely run my day with wisdom from the Lord.
When we ask God what is important to do today and what we should say no to we might be surprised at the answers. Don't be afraid to ask Him and start cultivating a spirit of discerning.
A spirit of discerning is: sifting our own voice out and learning God's voice.
Learning God's voice isn't super easy, it takes time, effort, and Bible reading to start to know His voice versus your own internal voice--But so worth the daily effort.
Let's pray: Dear Lord thank You that we have access to Your holy word. Thank You that we can cultivate faithfulness and discernment of Your voice versus our own internal dialogue.
Holy Spirit help us this day to start to sensitize our mind and spirit to knowing when God is talking to us.
Give us please the stamina to daily work on this beautiful gift of knowing You Lord. We want to live wisely. We want to run our day with wisdom and energy from you and not our own limited view of what should be and our own limited energy supply.
Thank You Lord for all that You are doing in our lives. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
