Are you looking at your circumstances as a way to create or as a way to play the victim?
Childhood for most people is a place where victims are created. Have you ever looked at the way most children react to getting trouble?
No child wants to be punished. No child wants to accept the responsibility for the circumstances they created or were apart of. And then that mindset is carried into our adult years.
I often used to blame my circumstances for my emotional state, my health, wealth, etc. Most people consistently use the words: "I can't because", or "That made me feel", "He/She made me feel", "They did this", "It's the economy", "It's *insert whomever to blame"
As hard as this is for even me--we are in charge of our feelings. We get to choose our actions and reactions. Now I am NOT saying don't feel your feelings and process them. I absolutely want us to feel our feelings and process them through journaling, praying, and analysis--AND then choose what emotions will stay.
I want us to analyze our circumstances, our responsibility in it, and call on the Lord to help give us God-blessed eyes to see whether we are being the victim, the martyr, or spiritually mature.
God wants to draw us out of trouble and help grow us through every circumstance. We get to choose whether we will grow or stay stuck. What will you choose today?

Let's Pray: Dear Lord God thank You for this day. Thank You for Your love and mercy!
Lord we are in awe of Your love for us and desire to see us grow spiritually and reap a harvest of blessings.
Lord please forgive us our sins--things done and left undone. Please grant us God-blessed eyes to see where we need to take responsibility for our circumstances and where we are taking too much responsibility.
We humbly submit ourselves for Your transformation and change. Please lead us to the scripture that will give us wisdom, discernment, and guidance, in every area of our lives and circumstances.
We thank You Lord Jesus that You long for us to have life in an abundance and You are always near to us, loving us, saving us, healing us, and transforming us, when we seek You day by day.
We sing praises to Your name, now and forever, Amen.
