We need to cultivate our faith muscles by walking out our faith, by boldly speaking the word to ourselves and over ourselves. We can grow in confidence by knowing God's word.
I develop confidence by doing, not talking about the doing, but doing it into feeling confident. We can't wait for our emotions to catch up to our head knowledge.
We can be all that we want to be. We can speak with kind courage but first we need to speak it. We can believe for transformation but first we have to believe that it is possible to change and grow in Christ. We can be the amazing, confident person we desire to be by being it! Faith without works is dead (James 2:14). My faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word (Romans 10:17).
Yes, we have the power to grow, change, mature, and create positive emotions. God says we have the power in us--the power of the Holy Spirit.
Come today and refresh yourself by coming into the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19)
We are going to speak with boldness the word of God into our minds, imprint the word of God on our heart and mind so that out of our hearts spring forth rivers of living water (John 7:37).
