Have you ever felt like hanging your head in shame after a particularly bad display of behavior?
Have you ever felt displaced, confused, unsteady, and wondering where God is during all the roll of emotions and the complexity of the circumstances?
I love how the Psalms give me the raw and real of human emotion. I love how I can turn to them and see the same emotions I'm experiencing in God's word before me.
No matter what happens in our lives when we turn to Him, listen to His word, call out to Him, and follow Him, He can transform all things.
He lifts our heads because He blots our sin out.
He steadies our feet as we plant ourselves in His word.
He protects us as we seek His face.
He answers us as we cry out to Him.
He blesses us as we work to do His word and will.
No matter what you are going through today these truths are a lamp unto our feet and a balm to our souls and mind.
Let's choose today to thank Him for these wonderful gifts of salvation, protection, instruction, and more.

Dear Lord Jesus God Almighty, we humbly come before You with thanks and praise.
Lord we thank You that You are mighty, awesome, incredible, powerful, Holy, and loving.
Lord we submit ourselves today for Your transformation and change. Lord please forgive us of our wrongs and lift our heads to feel Your love and to seek Your Holy word which is a lamp unto our feet and healing for our minds.
Lord help us to seek You daily and stay planted in Your streams of living water that heal our parched, broken places and that whittle away the chains that hold us back from living bold, courageous, and dynamic lives for You.
Thank You Lord for always hearing our prayers. In Jesus name, Amen.
