Unleaven Yourself--ever remember that song that spoke about "express yourself"? This world is so worked up over us expressing our "true-self" versus transforming ourselves into the likeness of God and His word.
In this passage Paul is encouraging a church to take all the sin out of themselves.
Sin is like leaven, it invades our whole being and changes our words, actions, and mindset into something so very far from what God would want for us.
If we are to be imitators of Christ then we need to put on the mind of Christ. Putting the mind of Christ, that is the word of God into our minds will start the process of unleavening our mindset, our words, our sinful behavior.
What today can we each start working to pull out of the dough of ourselves so that Christ can shape us into the image, the calling, and the blessings that He wants for us to be and to have?
