Do you keep note of the blessings and answered prayers you've received?
I was talking with another one of my coaches and she encouraged me to write down every small positive growth impacts that my ministry business is making.
The Bible tells us that David encouraged himself in the Lord. He was recounting all the good deeds that the Lord had done for Israel and for him.
The enemy seeks to discourage and steal away the empowerment we feel from moment to moment. And our feelings are fleeting as it is.
If we are going to thrive and grow in an environment of adversity--which is exactly what this broken sinful world is, then we must learn to encourage ourselves in the Lord even when we are getting along quiet well.
Build up your faith muscles. Build up the positive habit of fixing your mind on the blessings you have, the small answered prayers, the large answered prayers—keep a journal of them.
Then you will be prepared for when the hard days come and the trials of this life and the lies of the enemy seek to derail you from spiritual growth and steadfastness of heart in Christ Jesus.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God, thank you for this day. Thank You for Your love and the blessings that You have given us and are giving us.
Lord Jesus please help us to recount all the marvelous deed You have done for us. Please help us to keep our minds fixed on the blessings that surpass the trials of this life.
Help us to develop a daily habit of encouraging ourselves in Your word and Your Spirit.
We thank You and praise You for all that You are doing in our lives, through our lives, and for our lives.
In Jesus name, Amen.
