How do you create space in your life to have a deep consciousness of God?
Last year my word for the year was intentional. And it showed me how unintentional I was with my time. What an eye opener it was for me to see and repent of the waste.
This verse is a beautiful reminder for me not to allow myself to drift on autopilot but to be intentional to move through my days with God at the forefront of my mind--turning to Him with every decision--remembering to act in a way that edifies Him who sacrificed so much for me.
Let's choose today to work a little more at keeping God consistently on our mind.
Let's choose to ask Him to help us to wisely move through our day with wisdom from Him, seeking His counsel often.

Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty we humbly come before You with thanks and praise. We thank You for Your sacrifice that was so costly, so immeasurably wonderful that we are in constant awe that You paid it all for us.
Lord please help each of us to cultivate a deep consciousness of You as we travel this life.
Help us please to choose to seek Your face, Your counsel, Your word, and Your way often and consistently.
We thank You for the abundance of access that we have to Your word which is a lamp unto our feet--help us not to take that for granted but to treasure it.
Please imprint Your Holy word upon our hearts and minds so that our words, behavior, and thoughts are transformed, healed, and created into something pleasing in Your sight and a blessing to all who encounter us.
Lord we thank You that Your ways are so great, Your power beyond all understanding.
All praise and glory to You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen.
