Action, take two!
In Yesterday's daily devotional we talked about how stepping out in faith/obedience to God's call in our hearts means we are automatically successful.
God loves a heart after Him. God loves when we take His forgiveness and transform our behavior, words, and reactions to this world to be in alignment with His word and way.
It takes daily and by moment intention to work with God to respond to the world in a way that is counter to our sinful, prideful human spirit.
Today let's focus on looking at every reaction and action we take with God-blessed eyes to see what God sees.
Let's take a little extra time to analyze our actions and bring them into alignment with God's word and will.
Let's pray: Dear Lord God Almighty thank You for this day. Thank You for loving us and forgiving us in a radical and everlasting way.
We are humbled and awed at Your love, Your word, Your ways. For Your ways are truly very counter to this selfish, sinful world.
Lord please imprint Your Holy word on our hearts and minds and lead us to act in accordance with that word.
Holy Spirit please lead us this day to see how our actions and words aren't in alignment with God's way. Please help us to speak and act with compassion, kindness, gentleness, and love.
Please grant us bold courage to stand counter to this world's ways.
We thank You and praise You for all that You are doing in our lives, through our lives, and for our lives.
